Pear Quesadilla

Add a touch of sweetness to your quesadilla for that perfect salty-sweet balance!

Ingredients
whole wheat tortilla
cheese of choice
pears (canned or fresh, cooked)*
optional seasonings: rosemary, honey
Instructions
Heat 1 tortilla in a pan over low-medium heat.
Add slices of cheese, then layer cooked or canned pears, and add one more thin layer of cheese.
Add desired seasonings.
Top with second tortilla and cook until cheese melts.
Serve with low fat greek yogurt and favorite salsa.
Notes
If using fresh pears, sauté with olive oil until soft and pliable. Add honey to the pan when pears are done cooking.
